I’m likely mostly in the ‘hopeful’ category, though not quite a full ‘universalist’ . . . just hopeful that there is much truth in Our Lord’s Words ‘Behold, I make all things new’ . . . Hope is a good thing.

What do you think of China’s balloon that we shot down? I believe China will become America’s greatest enemy, more so than Russia.

I believe sending the balloon is an act of war. However, our administration is so weak and compromised right now, I think China will attack Taiwan, not fearing retaliation. I agree with you – the CHINESE CCP COMMUNIST government – not the Chinese people – are America’s greatest enemy.

Old story: Many years ago, my uncle Claude died, and since his wife couldn’t drive, she got our mother to take her to the funeral home. She was upsent he didn’t have his false teeth. The funeral guy told her no one had brought them, and it was too late now.
She got mother to take her home to get then. Mother said she just about got on top of Claude to get them in. He looked better, but not great.
Three days later her children told her, “Now Daddy’s gone, and you’ve got to start eating more.”
“I can’t eat; Claude’s got my teeth.”

I hadn’t thought about the balloon being an act of war, but you’re right. And our administration is so weak, if they were told to jump, the reply would be, “How high”?

Biden said he didn’t want the balloon shot down because it might hurt someone, and waited until it was over the Atlantic Ocean. Why didn’t he shoot it down when it was over the Aleutian Islands?
