The Hebrew word for “land” is Eretz.
The nation of Israel has had the land we call Israel since 1051 B.C.
Let 1051 B.C. sink in.
The United States was founded in AD 1776.
Nearly three thousand years before the United States had our land, Israel had their land, Eretz Israel.
Over a millennium before the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem, King Saul, King David, and King Solomon brought twelve families (tribes) together under the new kingdom called Israel, living in Eretz Israel.
Chronology of the Nations
Chronology is the study of timelines, especially concerning peoples and nations.
There is no such thing as ancient Palestinian land or Palestinian people.
There are Jews and Arabs, and there is the land of Israel and the land of Arabs.
The tribes of Israel descend from Abraham and his son Isaac and Isaace’s son Jacob (renamed Israel). That’s why the Hebrew God YHWH is called “The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
The tribes of the Arabs descend from Abraham and Ishmael. Ishmael’s descendants settled in Syria (they are called the Arameans in the Bible). The nomadic Ishamaelite tribes settled in what we now call Saudi Arabia.
The Jews lived in the land of Israel from 1450 BC (the Exodus).
Beginning in 1051 BC, the Kingdom of Israel existed with King Saul, King David, and King Solomon reigning over the Kingdom of Israel in Eretz Israel. Arabs settled around Israel in neighboring nations, including Aram (Syria), the Arabian desert (Saudi Arabia), Ammon (Jordan) and other nations (Iraq, Asia Minor, etc.)
The people of Israel belong to Eretz Israel.
Back in 1450 BC, the 12 Tribes of Israel conquered the land from the Canaanites, the Philistines, and other Greek sea-faring people who had come to the land from ancient Hellena. The Arabs have no DNA heritage to the ancient Philistines.
The Philistines and Canaanites eventually left Israel, settled in Crete and North Africa, or returned to Hellena (ancient Greece).
If anybody would have a claim to the Eretz Israel, it would be the Greeks, not the Arabs.
When Rome conquered a defeated Greece, led by Antony and Cleopatra, in the Battle of Actium (31 BC), and Rome became the world’s leading empire, it would be a century later before the Romans sought to erase Israel’s ties to the Eretz Israel.
After the Jewish-Roman wars (AD 66–135), Roman Emperor Hadrian, attempting to “mock” the Jews, changed the name of Eretz Israel to Syria Palaestina. Palaestina in Latin is the word “Philistine.” Hadrian, knowing his history, wanted to remind the Jews the Greeks were in Eretz Israel before they were.
Hadrian also changed the name of Jerusalem to the Aelia Capitolina (Capitol of the god Jupiter) to erase the historical ties of the Jewish people to Jerusalem, where the Jews built their Temple to God (YHWH).
Think about it.
The people of Israel lived in the land of Israel for over 1500 years before the Romans destroyed the Jewish Temple, leveled Jerusalem, scattered the Jews, and renamed the land and the city in AD 70.
The ARABS falsely claim the label “Palestinians” in our modern day.
Arabs are no more Palestinian than an XY chromosome male can an XX chromosome female, another false narrative that Marxist liberals force.
So Where Should “Palestinians” Go?
There is an easy answer to this question about where modern “Palestinians” should live if world leaders would think critically, historically, and logically.
After Hamas fighters illegally entered Israel on the 50th Anniversary of the Yom Kippur War (October 6, 1973), brutally kidnaping, torturing, maiming, murdering, and decapitating Jewish men, women, and children, the Israel Defense Force prepared for an all-out assault on Gaza.
Gaza will be destroyed.
Thankfully, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned the so-called “Palestinian” people to “get out” before Gaza is leveled.
Where should the Palestinian people go?
The Palestinian people should go home to their ancestral lands.
They should go to Jordan, Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, or Saudi Arabia.
That’s where they came from when they entered Eretz Israel 1500 years after the Jews entered Eretz Israel.
The belief that the people of Israel have “taken land” from the Arabs who live in Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem is to show an ignorance of world history.
It is Eretz Israel.
It’s been Eretz Israel for 2,000 years longer than the United States has been on its land.
Welcome your brothers home, my Arab friends.
Make peace, not war.
It’s Israel’s land – all of it.
Including GAZA.
Golda Meier, of blessed memory, once said,
‘we have no other place to go’.
After the Holocaust and the revelation of the deaths of millions of Jews whose ancestors had left Israel, the world began to understand what Golda meant . . . . the UN confirmed the right of Israel to exist as a nation.
Americans support Israel’s right to exist, in principle, and in military reality.
But, sadly, recent events at Charlottesville and at many synagogues under attack in our country have revealed the horror of a growing anti-Semitism in our own country, and in the world once again. People are more than concerned. People are confused about who is promoting Israel’s enemies who are terrorists: Hezbollah, Isis, Hamas, etc.
May God have mercy.
Indeed, May God have mercy.
CHRISTIANE,
You wrote: “Americans support Israel’s right to exist, in principle, and in military reality. But, sadly, recent events at Charlottesville and at many synagogues under attack in our country have revealed the horror of a growing anti-Semitism in our own country.”
Judy and I have not heard of any synagogues being under attack in our country. All the News stations show the horror of Jews being murdered; heads of babies being cut off etc. Also, 12 Americans have been killed.
The Yom Kippur war ended on October 6th 1973, NOT 1923
The sentence referring to XY vs XX is missing something, as written it doesn’t make any sense.
Great article otherwise.
Praying for Israel.
Yes – thank you – typo.
CHRISTIANE,
I stand corrected in disagreeing with you about growing anti-Semitism in our country. The last Hannity show on TV, showed you were right.
Wade,
Check is in the mail. smile
A Titanic Story Never Told
Harper then tried to lead him to Christ only to have the young man, near shock, reply no. John Harper then took off his life jacket, threw it to the man, and said, “Here then, you need this more than I do…” and swam away to other people. A few minutes later, Harper swam back to the young man and succeeded in leading him to salvation. Of the 1,528 people that went into the water that night, six were rescued by the lifeboats. One of them was this young man on the debris.
Four years later, at a survivor’s meeting, this young man stood up and, in tears, recounted how John Harper had led him to Christ. Rev. Harper had tried to swim back to help other people, yet because of the intense cold, had grown too weak to swim. His last words before going under in the frigid waters were, “Believe on the name of the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.”
Does Hollywood remember this man? No. Oh well, no matter. This servant of God did what he had to do. While other people were trying to buy their way onto the lifeboats and were selfishly trying to save their own lives, John Harper gave up his life so that others could be saved.
John Harper knew what it meant to live life with urgency. (Credit: Pastor Danny Zorn).
If nothing more, the Holocaust DID point out the truth of Golda Mier’s words, “we have no other place to go”, as the Jews of the diaspora were rounded up, put in cattle cars, and brought to camps for extermination . . . . . . so the world saw and heard . . . . . and the state of Israel is the ‘modern’ result of the Jewish cry ‘God gave this land to me’
But the treatment of the innocent ‘Palestinians’ remains a thorn in the side of the world’s ‘solution’ to what to do with ‘the Jews’ . . . and Golda’s ‘we have no other place to go’ creates a conflict that may, for all time, plague a Jewish homeland that could not understand that ‘the palestinian’ was also a creature without land, without ‘home’, without sanctuary
failure to empathize? yes, on a major scale
and
much used as ‘reason’ to attack modern Israel’s existance, sadly

CHRISTIANE,
The Enemies of Jews will reap what they have sown.
And the supporters of the ‘enemies of the Jews’?
the ones who say of the enemies ‘there are good people on BOTH sides’?
are we not then all from a broken world?
Or are the anti-semites forever cursed as ‘inhuman’?
I can’t understand the praise of them what supports the abusers, the bullies, no. Not anymore. Not understanding them is not the same as hating them. It just tells me that their thinking doesn’t ‘make sense’ in a world that cries for loving-kindness, and that is sad.
sometimes, in observing the gentle loving-kindness of my son with Down syndrome, I have wondered whether we ‘normal’ human persons were, in fact, the ones most disabled.
What we ‘take for granted’ is often ‘miracle’, but we are blind to it. But a person with Down syndrome ‘sees’ another universe with another way of understanding what is of value. . . . . who is to say who is really ‘dis-abled’ on our Earth that we are destroying as we engage with one another aggressively and contemptuously???
I would give much for ten minutes inside the mind of a Down syndrome person, for to ‘see’ and ‘experience’ whatever it is that makes them so loving in our sad world . . . . that fractured twenty-first chromosome – what is it’s ‘secret’?????
May God have mercy on us all.
Rex,
I texted you on your phone and sent an email, but I thought I’d comment here. I’m about to put up a post later tonight, but didn’t want to wait.
THANK YOU (from Rachelle and me) for your generous check to ISTORIA. I received it, and we are very grateful! Rachelle sends her love!
